In-line ultrasound system for automatic inspection of Billets and Rods. ULTRASEN-ROD^® is a fully automatic ultrasound inspection system of billets and rods. It performs complete inspection of a 100% of the production (i.e. full volume and surface inspection for each and every part produced) providing thorough inspection reports in compliance with different quality standards, so allowing to increase productivity. This system is able to examine pieces of variable size (diameters ranging from 20 to 300 mm) in-line.

The system provides software tools including storage and management of databases for bars inspected/reference bars as well as connectivity to the factory computer network.
